I’ve been classing myself as a real-life lifestyle blogger for a while now. But what is a real-life lifestyle blogger?
For me it’s a person who writers about anything and everything going on in their life. They speak the truth and aren’t afraid to do so.
They don’t just write about beauty, fashion and travel. But the real issues. The nitty gritty stuff that isn’t always pretty.
For me this is the type of blogs I love to read.
I love a good beauty and fashion post from time to time as well. But it’s the real stuff that interests me.
The experience and stories of real people with all the messy bits left in.
There are probably loads of people doing this but here are my three favourites.
Imii is a blogger I’ve only recently started following but I love her content.
It’s very lifestyle blogger-esque with food, travel and beauty posts but her ‘thought’ section is my favourite.
I think what I love about her blog the most is that she’s not afraid to write a super short post either.
There is this pressure in the blogging community to create amazing content with 1000 words and 20 photos to go with it. But Imii just does what’s right for her.
If you haven’t started following Chloe yet after my countless recommendations then make sure you check her out once you finish this post!
Chloe’s blog originally was very fashion focused when I first started following her. But now she’s a proper real-life lifestyle blogger.
What I love about Chloe as she puts all bullshit aside and tells you exactly how it is.
And she does it all whilst looking fab and sharing her favourite outfits.
Rebecca is someone I’ve been following for a while but not reading until recently.
Her blog is very honest and filled with everything you’d expect from a lifestyle blog and more.
But she also has those super easy reads we all need from time to time.
What I love about her blog is that she’s not afraid to just write about what she wants to write about. Heck she even made a blog dedicated to her dogs!
For me the blogging industry is so saturated now that it’s becoming hard to stand out, get noticed and create unique content.
But at the end of the day the only thing that makes every blog unique is the person who writes it.
This is why I try to put as much as my own experiences and thoughts into everything I create.
And it’s why I follow people who do the same.
Let me know any bloggers you think are doing something different and are worth following in the comments.
