Fashion. It’s not something I talk about on my blog unless it’s to say that I don’t have any fashion sense. I merely just pick out ‘normal’ items of clothing and pair them together depending on what’s washed at the time.
Tshirts, leggings, jumpers and vest tops is pretty much what my wardrobe consists of.
To fashion gurus I probably don’t have a style or any sense of what one is but to me I’m just myself and I wear what I like.
I’m never daring when it comes to clothes or accessories, but there are a few things I wear and add to my outfits that make it feel a bit more like me.
I jumped on the slogan t-shirt bandwagon just as everybody else was getting off. I’m quite a quiet and reserved person. I don’t give too much away to those who don’t know me closely. So slogan t-shirts are my way of showing off my fun side.
Most of the time they don’t mean anything or relate to anything in my life. I just find it to be a bit of fun.
Another trend I jumped on very late but boy am I loving it! I bought a denim jacket for the FIRST TIME last year and since then I’ve wanted to cover it in pin badges
My collection is very small at the moment but I really want to grow it, whilst also sticking to my own likes and values. I don’t want to buy a badge for the sake of it. I’m currently eyeing up a few from the Old English Company, including the stay weird one and the start somewhere one.
This is not a sponsored post but the Old English Company are running a competition if you want to try to win some pins for yourself – which includes some serious Girl Gang pin vibes!
THE BEE BELT
Ok I will admit this is a v. very recent buy. Like last week kinda thing. But I already love it!
Living in Manchester and having Manchester be a big part of my life the bee is also a massive part of all of this.
So when I saw a belt with a bee detailing on it on ASOS I had to have it – I know it says insect detail but I’m calling it a bee ok so it’s a bee!
My style isn’t something I would call fashionable, but it’s what makes me, me.
I’d love to know what style ‘tips’ you have and what you think defines your image.
*This is not a sponsored post, but I am being gifted some badges in exchange for letting you know about the giveaway. All opinions are my own and I only work with brands that I honestly trust and would buy products from.
